Welcome to the QUNETIX SD Free Version download page.

This free version of QUNETIX SD is the full featured product. The free-version license limits its capacity for deployment to a maximum of 4 targets and does not restrict the installation to a single server machine. QUNETIX SD includes a number of significant enhancements over the original QUNETIX SE including scheduling.

To increase the limits on the machine table and the number of targets that can be distributed to, you may purchase either a QUNETIX SD Lite license (will not include User Roles and Scheduling) or a full QUNETIX SD license.

This client-server software is comprised of three major components:

• Server software (available for Windows or Linux)

• Client software (for Windows)

• Agents (available for Windows, Linux or Solaris)

Server components are installed with a single server installation program.   The server is the hub of the client-server application and will also store the database required by the program.

Client software is a single Windows installation that can be repeated on as many computers as you need.   The client provides the interface between the user and the server software.

Agent software is installed on any machine intended to receive that release distribution.   Agent installations are available for three operating systems: Windows, Linux, and Solaris.

A complete set of components for either a Windows server or a Linux server are available below.   Each includes client software as well as agents for all three supported operating systems.

Some additional 3rd party elements may be required to prepare your environment.
QUNETIX SD requires a MySQL database, a Java environment for the server and Java runtime environments applicable to the operating system of your agent(s).

It is advisable to first print the installation manual and also download the related documentation.

QUNETIX SD requires a MySQL database.
If you do not have MySQL or you need to update your version, use the link at the bottom of this page to download the latest version.

The Server you select to use will require a J2SDK environment appropriate to its operating system.   If you do not already have version 1.4.2_06 use the link at the bottom of this page to download it or a later version.

The agent software components require only Java runtime environments.   They are included in the QUNETIX SD downloads.
